So we have researchers using the models of disease epidemics to make large-scale database systems more efficient. Why not study the way bodies develop immunity to disease to better protect against viruses?

I really don't see the point of this. Have we found a cure for HIV yet? No. So what makes anyone think we can design some system that can develop immunity against something crafted by a smart human when we can't even stop a dumb string of DNA?

Absurd.
