Network World Fusion 08/03/04

Mike Pope gets his home broadband from Comcast. He reports Comcast POP server was down for 48 hours"

"... I do find it remarkable that Comcast provides no status information anywhere on their site (that I can find) where a body might look to see server status. Perhaps I'm just spoiled from work. About the best they offer is a useless support agent ('How to set up Outlook,' yeah, got that, thanks) and the logically inappropriate opportunity to email them a support question."
