If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Kismet

802.11b wireless sniffer (802.11a available in the Linux version). "Kismet works with any wireless card which is capable of reporting raw packets (rfmon support), which include any prism2 based card (Linksys, D-Link, Rangelan, etc), Cisco Aironet cards, and Orinoco based cards. Kismet also supports the WSP100 remote sensor by Network Chemistry." Open source. Platforms: Linux, BSD, Mac OS X, Windows (with Cygwin)
