Been through a few smaller version changes with Mimer 9.1x....9.3x...so far, and our development of the metabase software for doing database design (with mimer as the dbms) has still been working well. Their help docs are better now, and their support is still responsive to emails. Somtimes I wish there was a more centralized all-in-one-admin module. Not a big deal though.

The mimer sql dbms is a sound rdbms that runs swiftly on both windows 2000 and windows 2003 servers when used as the backend for the Whitemarsh Metabase software (wiscorp.com). I tested the Whitemarsh Metabase software client ODBC workstations with winXP pro and the ODBC drivers do the trick. Great support from Upright. I sent them three email with questions and always got a good answer. Calling them on the phone can be hard though, as they are in Sweden.
