The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

   Lastly, I want to get your opinions on e-marketplaces, meaning trading networks between businesses in the same vertical industry, like the ANX, or Automotive Network Exchange. Any thoughts on how effective these things are and whether we need more of them?

Grim: We definitely need more of them. I'm incredibly excited about it. I've moved my career in this direction. We are in essence taking what is our core business, which is that we have multiple buyers and sellers in the traditional world, and moving it into the Web.

Our goal is threefold in this space. The first is we want to be the online payment system in every marketplace that's out there, which equates into that Internet market share which will hopefully exceed our current market share. The second area is we are launching a transaction-based marketplace in a horizontal environment. And we're looking to this as a pretty much an R&D of what and how we need to play in this space. And the third area is we want to be able to link up to as many marketplaces as possible to create a network effect, and to transform the business for both our buyers and our sellers in a way that they want us to.

Any other thoughts on e-marketplaces? John, isn't this kind of a big issue in health care?

Quinn: We've had a lot of visionary talk about where it can be, and certainly in supply chain at this point it can be very large. But there is some visionary thinking about buying and selling and bidding of services. The structure of how healthcare is provided right now doesn't lend itself well to this, so there's some interesting opportunities here in the future. But it really relates to how employers and health plans and the payers want to make use of this opportunity to get best prices for best services and match capacity with demand. At this point, I don't see a whole lot happening yet but I've heard some very interesting talk.
