In addition to the extensive marketing and promotion done through Network World, here are some ideas to help you promote your sponsorship of Network World's IT Roadmap Conference & Expo within your company and to your customers.

Internal Marketing

Promote the event within your organization.

  1. Run an ad or announcement in your company newsletter or e-mail your employees about the event.
  2. Encourage your sales representatives to attend the event along with their customers and prospects.

Web Marketing & Visibility on Site

Invite your customers and prospects to meet with you at the event! Let your clients know you're taking part in a Network World event in their city! We'll provide you with customized versions of web graphics and text links to post on your company's website. In addition, we'll send you customized versions of easy to distribute HTML emails and electronic invitations for your sales team to send to key clients and prospects. Also, we are happy to provide you with copies of the text and promotional e-mails created for this event for distribution to your key clients and prospects.

Creating Effective Displays

Create an effective presence on-site at each event by handing out literature, displaying actual products, giving demonstrations and collect attendee names & hold a prize drawing post event. Please keep in mind that attendees are very receptive to seeing an actual product and/or demo.

Analyst Contact

The analyst should be fully informed about your company's products as they relate to the event topic. Use the following guidelines to ensure this happens:

  1. Organize company and product information for the analyst.
  2. Identify one key technical contact for the analyst to speak with and use as a resource for information about your company's products, industry trends and key technologies.
  3. Supply the presenter with customer contacts for potential case studies, which may add a valuable dimension to the presentation.

Attendee Leads

You will receive complete contact information on all registrants within five (5) business days after the event. We strongly encourage you to follow up on these leads immediately. Network World and all sponsors must comply with can--spam and data processing legislation in conjunction with all the lead follow-up.
