At Inergy Automotive, a global leader in the design and manufacture
of plastic fuel-delivery systems and fluid-storage technologies
for automobiles and other vehicles, DeSouza has led a two-phase
infrastructure project called INSERVE at Inergy. During Phase I, he managed
a global Active Directory implementation across 40 sites on-time (in six
months) and under-budget. This flagship infrastructure project helped streamline,
consolidate and secure Inergy’s information resources. As part of INSERVE II,
he deployed Packeteer QoS devices across Inergy’s global enterprise,
providing tremendous benefits to Inergy in terms of productivity,
cost savings, performance and security.
James Hettrick, IT director, City of Loma Linda, California
Involved in
Information Systems since 1989, Mr. Hettrick has worked extensively in
municipal and private sectors, managing a broad range of projects, from
developing strategic information systems management solutions
for a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) of seven City and County fire departments,
to coordinating the state-wide GIS database of the California Historical
Resource Information System. Mr. Hettrick has built the Loma Linda Connected
Community Program (LLCCP), which made Loma Linda the first city in America
to implement a fiber and structured wiring building code for all new home
and business developments. He has won numerous industry awards, including
the 2nd Annual FTTXcellence Award in 2005, in honor of his contributions
to the deployment of optical access networks in North America.
Jamey Vester, production control, Subaru of Indiana
Mr. Vester has worked
for Subaru of Indiana Automotive in Lafayette, Indiana for 5 years. SIA
manufactures Subaru Legacy, Outback and B9 Tribeca vehicles. He was the
lead in implementing virtualization at SIA, and has been working with VMware
for more than two years. Prior to joining SIA, Mr. Vester worked in various
IT and manufacturing capacities.
