- The Collaboration Economy and a New Era in Business Communications
Don Tapscott and Anthony Williams (respectively CEO and VP of the New Paradigms
think tank) coauthored Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything – described
by Tom Peters as "Must read #1, 2007—period. This is a breathtaking
piece of work."
Don, an enthralling and inspired orator, is an internationally renowned
authority on the strategic value and impact of information technology,
while Anthony’s seven models of mass collaboration provide a myriad
ways to harness external knowledge, resources, and talent for greater
competitiveness. How can businesses tap the full potential of the emerging
networked economy and what is really needed to exploit the flexibility,
cost savings and quality of service that Carrier Ethernet offers?
- Case Study I
- The Real Business Benefits of Carrier Ethernet
Alla Reznik from Verizon Business will be discussing the current business
challenges faced by the enterprise market today and the benefits of using
an Ethernet Solution. She will then provide an overview of Verizon Business’s
award winning Ethernet Services portfolio. Doug Duquette, EVP/CTO
from Trading Technologies, Inc., will be joining Alla to give us an overview
of Trading Technologies and how the electronic financial markets are
the new “killer app” for Ethernet services.
