Getting up and running with this heart rate monitor was fast and easy: strap the sensor/wireless transmitter across your chest, strap on the watch, hit the Heart button, and hit the road. The rubberized sensor strap isn't the most comfortable thing to wear and tends to accumulate sweat, but I was impressed by the device's accuracy. The watch looks kind of ordinary, and the more advanced features, such as setting target heart rates, were difficult to figure out.
Nike scores big with this MP3 player designed for runners. It looks cool all around, is simple to operate all of the controls while you're running, has an cool optional clip-on remote control piece with LCD display, and comes with cool, comfortable folding headphones. The sound was excellent. With 64M bytes of memory (expandable to 128M bytes), it can hold enough music for even us long-distance runners.
This
stopwatch is great for beginners who want a very basic unit
to keep time while exercising. I found the beeping pace indicator
annoying, as I would rather keep pace to a music beat. One major
downfall: if you need to pause your exercise for some reason,
you cannot pause the timer it resets only.
Coolness
score: 8
(a good jump rope with a little added something makes
this a pretty cool gadget)
Ease
of use: 10 (providing
you already know how to jump rope the displays are very
user friendly, very easy to use)
If you like gadgets and keeping fit, HealthyJump is for you. Part of Tanita’s line of handheld self-monitoring products, HealthyJump is a jump rope with features. HealthyJump has a battery-operated calorie and jump counter built-in to one of its handles, these can provide great feedback and motivation, and are great tools for setting workout goals. If you like the feedback you get from stationary bikes and treadmills regarding calories burned, miles gone, etc. then you’ll love HealthyJump. Adjusting the length of your HealthyJump is very easy, unlike some leather and cotton ropes, no tools and very little effort are required. The weight of the rope is just right, comparable to that of a leather rope, not too light like most cotton ropes - and the swivel action on the handles provides a very smooth rotation. You don’t need a lot of money or space, for a nominal fee you can use your HealthyJump any place, any time.
HealthyJump can be a great benefit to your business when you consider that your employees are your business and healthy employees are happier, less stressed and generally more productive. Everybody wins, and for only $20 that’s quite a bargain.
A digital watch with tools such as alarms, an altimeter, compas, chronograph and barometer. While the average person doesn't need a watch built for mountain climbers and marathon swimmers, this is still a neat watch if you ever need to know the exact barometric pressure at any given time. While playing with the complex gizmos was fun for a while, they're of no use to a non-superhero (or previously mentioned mountain climbers / marathon swimmers). But it's nice to know that if God wears a watch, it's probably this one.
