HP iPAQ h4150 Pocket PC
HPPrice: $449.00
Rating: 4
Ease of use: Mainstream customers
Review:
The new HP iPAQ h4150 Pocket PC is a sleek and stylish PDA that will have your colleagues going ooh and ahh when they see how small, light and slick the device is.
The device weighs 4.7 oz., and is small enough to fit comfortably into a shirt pocket, unlike some of the more heavier iPAQ Pocket PCs we've seen from HP.
The device has integrated Bluetooth and 802.11b wireless LAN connectivity, support for security protocols WEP, LEAP and 802.1x, and an integrated Secure Digital Input/Output (SDIO) card slot. Connecting via Bluetooth was relatively easy, but connecting to a wireless LAN was much, much harder than we thought (we couldn't even tell whether it had integrated wireless or not, even though HP says it does).
The device comes with a 1000 mAh removable battery, and an optional 1800 mAh battery is available. With its internal backup battery, a user can swap the main removable battery with another one while the system stays in standby mode.
The h4150 also comes with 64M bytes of RAM (56M bytes usable by the owner), and runs off the 400MHz Intel xScale PXA255 applications processor.
