Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card

Actiontec

Price: $55.00
Rating: 4
Ease of use: Mainstream customers

Review:
If you're looking for a pretty easy PC card to install into your wireless-free notebook, then this is worth a look.

The Actiontec 802.11g PC Card offers quick installation (especially via Windows XP) and will get you up and running in no time at all. If you are surfing on an 802.11g network, even better, but it will also work with an 802.11b network.

For security, both 40-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption are supported, and WPA support is promised (check driver updates when you get the card).

The card also comes with a free 30-day trial of Actiontec's KidDefender software, which helps parents monitor children's activity online (including IM, chat and Web browsing habits), including the ability to block certain programs and Web sites.
