Buffalo Wireless USB adapter-g

Buffalo Technology

Price: $100.00
Rating: 3
Ease of use: Mainstream customers

Review:
There's a lot of 802.11g equipment out there, but they're usually in the PC card or PCI card form factor. If you want to connect a desktop to an 802.11g network, your options are limited.

Fortunately, there's this USB adapter from Buffalo Technology, which connects quickly to a USB 2.0 port (also works with USB 1.1) on any desktop (or notebook) to provide instant access to an 802.11g or 802.11b network.

The adapter comes with client software from Buffalo, but if you have Windows XP you can use that to configure the connection.

The adapter installed very easily, we were up and running with wireless connectivity in no time at all. And that's what a wireless adapter should do. Nothing fancy, just get connected quickly.
