IBM's Tivoli Systems, Inc. subsidiary yesterday announced availability of Tivoli/Plus for Compaq Insight Manager, a module that links Tivoli TME 10 and Compaq Insight Manager.
Tivoli/Plus for Compaq Insight Manager is designed to centralize enterprise server management from a TME 10 console. Through a single point of control, Compaq Insight Manager event output is merged with other event sources such as applications, databases, networks and systems.
This integration provides task automation, synchronized distribution of Insight Manager to target servers, and proactive event management based on thresholds and predefined rules, Tivoli said.
Tivoli/Plus for Compaq Insight Manager is available for $1,000 per Tivoli-managed Compaq Insight Manager server.
