The newest version of SeNTry Enterprise Event Manager (EEM) makes it simpler for NT managers to consolidate and access data information from NT event logs.

SeNTry EEM 2.5, from Mission Critical Software, Inc., now has a Web interface, which lets managers work with the EEM database via a Web browser, and a new reporting engine with a set 30 ready-to-run reports to analyze the event data collected from networked NT systems.

Also new is a set of "Knowledge Packs" that, in effect, automatically configure EEM to collect and process data from specific applications such as Microsoft Exchange Server and Lotus Notes. Each Knowledge Pack includes a set of filters, performance counters and alerts to monitor and control NT and its applications and hardware.

Pricing for the SeNTry EEM is $995 per monitored server and $50 per monitored workstation. The software, available now, runs on Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0.
