Today's breaking news
Send to a friendFeedback

BOULDER, COLO. - Exabyte this week unveiled software that makes it easier for net managers to remotely manage devices in a SAN.

NetStorM Resource Manager is browser-based and lets net managers monitor disk arrays, tape libraries and other devices, and report failures or performance problems during traditional back-up operations. The software can issue alerts via pager or e-mail when a hardware failure occurs.

NetStorM Resource Manager automatically collects information from Exabyte storage devices, FCX Fibre Channel-to-SCSI routers, Brocade switches and Vixel and Gadzoox hubs. It displays configuration, status and errors on a single console and can automatically generate daily or weekly reports.

NetStorM Resource Manager is available now and costs $10,000.
