Enhancements and fixes for Novell's ZENworks management product are now available.
The ZENworks 2 Support Pack 1 substitutes the existing inventory database with a Sybase database that allows you to optionally migrate from one database to another. It takes approximately twice the space of the previous database.
The support pack also includes support for Windows 2000 Server and allows remote management of workstations running Windows 2000 Workstation. It also includes an update remote management agent for Windows 95/98.
The software ships with the NetWare Administrator v5.1.9 and corrects problems administrators had with ZENworks snap-ins. It also now scans for network adapters in workstations and displays logical and physical information.
