New offerings for B2B

NEW YORK - There was a spattering of product announcements at Gartner's Internet & E-Business conference and exhibition this week.

Here are some highlights:

Mercado Software announced an upgrade of its online catalog search software, IntuiFind. The new version of IntuiFind includes data analysis features that allow businesses to monitor all catalog searches, revealing what buyers found and didn't find and generating reports on all of these activities. It also includes merchandizing and personalization capabilities, which were in previous versions. The software is available now and pricing starts at $40,000.

Skyva International, a Medford, Mass., maker of collaborative commerce software, released Skyva 3.0, a J2EE-compliant application development environment that enables businesses to build reusable parts for planning, scheduling and other activities. It is compatible with Simple Object Access Protocol, UDDI and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. Pricing begins at $90,000.

ACI Worldwide, an Omaha, Neb., maker of online payment products, unveiled new versions of its electronic statement delivery software, M-Statement, and electronic bill delivery software, M-Bill. Companies would be able to create, track and deliver statements and bills to their customers via e-mail and other delivery channels. Customers then would electronically pay the company using various payment methods, such as direct debit and credit cards. Pricing for both software products is based upon configuration.

Presenter, San Jose, introduced the Telephony Payback Option, which would allow companies offer their employees and partners to list to voice-narrated PowerPoint presentations at their own convenience. Users could listen to presentations on the phone as they followed on PCs or mobile devices. The software will be available later this month.
