Oracle said Tuesday it is exercising options to purchase two PeopleSoft development centers in Bangalore, India. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
The centers are operated by outsourcing services companies Hexaware Technologies and Covansys. PeopleSoft arranged the purchase option in 2003, which Oracle then acquired when it bought PeopleSoft last year.
The centers' employees will become part of Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle's staff. The transfer is expected to be finalized in October.
