Orange Business Services Wednesday announced that it is teaming with T-Mobile to expand the reach of its Wi-Fi network in the U.S.
Orange Business Services is France Telecom’s newly formed unit that combines all of the carrier’s units that provide telecom services to businesses around the world. The division was announced in May.
T-Mobile has 7,000 Wi-Fi hot spots across the U.S. in public locations. Orange is adding these access points to its list of hot spots that can be reached through its Business Everywhere service.
With the addition of the T-Mobile hot spots, Business Everywhere customers will have access to 35,000 hot spots in about 60 countries, the service provider says.
Some of T-Mobile’s public locations include Accor hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Starbucks, U.S. airports and the airline clubs of American, Delta, United and US Airways.
