Enterprises using Oracle's CRM software will be able to extend the application to workers with BlackBerry smart phones.
Oracle announced Siebel Wireless for BlackBerry smart phones from Research In Motion on Thursday.
The announcement comes as businesses move to equip their mobile workforces with many of the same productivity tools available to in-house staff.
Companies using Siebel Wireless will be able to provide CRM data to executives, sales teams and service technicians who rely on fast communications and easy access to customer information, Oracle said. Users, for instance, can push notifications or data to any user via the BlackBerry push-based e-mail, voice or SMS (Short Message Service) services.
In addition, IT managers can use BlackBerry's over-the-air Enterprise Server application to manage and maintain applications as they evolve.
Pricing details were not available.
