WASHINGTON – EIQnetworks announced Monday a version of its SecureVue security-information management software that integrates views to offer a comprehensive look of an entire organization’s security.
SecureVue 2.5, available now, consolidates, correlates and analyzes different information -- including log, vulnerability, configuration, asset, performance and NetFlow data -- to give administrators an overview of security, according to company officials. The upgrade was announced at the Gartner IT Security Summit held here this week.
This upgrade monitors, analyzes and reports on network traffic flow and includes a compliance portal with more than 1,500 templates, officials say. The software is able to combine data from a number of sources to meet regulatory reporting requirements for government, industry and corporate regulations.
Version 2.5 also allows syslog data to be collected and analyzed from any network device, application or system. The automated asset-discovery feature can locate assets throughout the network, avoiding the time and potential for error of doing it manually, they say.
The QuickView Insight feature shows policy-based asset, configuration and vulnerability changes, while the advanced visualization tool shows multiple topology views ranging from high-level to granular.
SecureVue 2.5 is priced starting at $50,000.
