McAfee this week has introduced a bundled package for endpoint encryption, enterprise data-loss prevention and USB encryption devices.
McAfee Total Protection for Data marks the first time the company has integrated the SafeBoot encryption technology it acquired last year under its umbrella policy-management console, ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
McAfee Endpoint Encryption is used for full hard-drive encryption for Windows-based laptops and desktops, while the data-leak prevention (DLP) products prevent unauthorized data transmission on the laptop and at the gateway. (Learn more about DLP products in our Data-Leak Prevention Buyer's Guide.)
McAfee also is including with this product bundled USB devices with a minimum of 128M bytes of storage that are hardware-encrypted and use a biometric fingerprint reader.
Pricing starts at $66, based on 10,000 or more users.
