D-Link has launched DIR-300, which is an entry-level Wireless G router for home and small office users. With DIR-300, users can share a broadband Internet connection with multiple computers by simply connecting it to a cable or DSL modem.

The router includes stateful packet inspection as well as firewall functions to safeguard your network from harmful attacks. One of the key features of DIR-300 is its scheduling parental control, which helps parents to have more flexible control when kids access the Internet. This router allows users to share the Internet through either wired or wireless connection.

The DIR-300 supports the 802.11g/b standards. Wireless encryptions such as WEP, WPA and WPA2 are supported to ensure that data gets securely transmitted over the wireless network. The package also includes a quick router setup wizard utility to help users set up the unit for their networks and over the Internet with just a few clicks.

The key features of the D-Link Wireless G Router include Smart Qos, SPI Firewall Protection, Wi-Fi Protected Setup, Advanced Scheduling, User Level Control, WPA (TKIP) and WPA2 (AES) Support, VPN Pass-through, Interactive Install Guide, UPnP Support, Window Vista Certified and Xbox Live Certified.

The DIR-300 is available for Rs. 2625 ($66).
