Kenya's software market got a competitive boost recently when Bluekey, a South African software vendor, rebranded and launched SAP Business One for SMEs (small and medium enterprises).
SAP Business One brings sales, financial management, banking, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management and customer relationship management under one flexible responsive system, said Paul Marketos, Bluekey Group managing director.
Kenya's SMEs offer an exclusive market for local developers, as most big companies, such as East Africa Breweries, invest in established software brands for business management solutions.
There is exceptional demand driven by a confident African business, Marketos said. Infrastructure and resource projects are driving growth for those SMEs with quality products and systems, he added.
