The popular networking site LinkedIn was down for several hours Thursday, the source of the outage unclear.
LinkedIn did not return a call.
The site page said, "Sorry, we can't display this page right now. Something unexpected has gone wrong. Please wait a few seconds and try again by hitting the reload button. We apologize for the inconvenience. An error report has been filed and our team is working on fixing the problem. If you have any questions, please e-mail us at customer_service@linkedin.com."
The site is down not only in the United States, but in the United Kingdom as well, as noted by a blogger there.
LinkedIn is a social Web site for professionals. It lets workers share resumes, job experiences, job-seeking tips and other career networking information.
