For those who prefer third party headphones, Apple accessory manufacturer Macally has released the HiFiTune for iPhone and iPod touch, a stereo hands-free headset.
The headset features a metal alloy body, an integrated, in-line microphone with a button for call and playback control. Durable, light weight fabric cable should ensure a long life, and the HiFiTune headset includes a sturdy carrying case for added protection.
Macally says the headset comes with a crystal clear microphone, and sound-isolating in-ear design, while the 3.5 mm audio jack also fits original iPhone and iPods.
Six pairs of included silicone fittings in three sizes, and an included carrying case for additional comfort.
Macally HiFiTune retails at €49,95, around £44 (US$66), and is available now from www.macally-europe.com and leading outlets.
