Uncharted 2 gets 10 player deathmatch, 3 player co-op

In an unexpected turn, it's been revealed that the upcoming tomb-raiding adventure Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will have an extensive multiplayer experience (and the recently revealed multiplayer beta to be packaged with inFamous doesn't hurt the hype machine).

From a 5-on-5 deathmatch-style mode, a CTF-esque mode called "Plunder" where teams compete to collect the most treasure and a full 3-player co-op mode for the main game. We recently had the opportunity to check out all of the multiplayer modes in Uncharted 2, and we were taken aback to say the least. The deathmatch mode, which pits players in teams of five as either a "hero" or a "villain", can only be compared to the frantic fire fights found in heavy-hitting shooters such as Gears of War 2.
