ClearSight Networks has updated its Network Time Machine (NTM) monitoring system to include 3G mobile voice traffic.

The system is a set of application and analysis tools that monitors different types of traffic to ensure quality of service. The NTM line of products can capture and store up to 40 days' worth of data and has capture capabilities ranging from 1.6 to 44 terabytes on a gigabit Ethernet link. The latest version of the system, called Network Time Machine 7.0, can capture and analyze data sent over 3G mobile networks, including video conferencing, live broadcasting and telemedicine.

In addition, NTN has been recently upgraded to monitor 10Gbps Ethernet. ClearSight has also recently developed an NTM Express option that lets small and medium-sized businesses take advantage of the system.
