Filmlounge.com has introduced a Web based service for legal film streaming and downloading.

The service automatically detects the device you are using and supplies the correct compatible film file working seamlessly on Macs and iPhones says the company. The Web browser based service is also compatible with the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Filmlounge.com specialises in 'lads movies' and current titles include Night of the Living Dead, Bloody Sunday, He Was a Quiet Man, Evil Aliens, Kung Fu Flid and Reckoning Day.

The controversial Baise Moi featuring the late Karen Lancaume is also available to stream or download.

Filmlounge.com offers streams and downloads in 720p high definition with no buffer loading times even at 2mb broadband promises the company.

Each film costs £1.99 (US$3.29) for streaming and £2.99 for downloads. Film rentals are valid for 24-hours.

Full details can be found at www.filmlounge.com.
