Looking like something from Transformers, IXOS has announced the Neo iPod speaker dock aimed at bedrooms across the land.

With alarm, snooze and sleep functions the dock includes four speaker drive units and a 10W RMS amplifier along with 6 preset EQ settings.

A universal iPod dock charges and synchronises with your computer's iTunes library, while a supplied remote control comes with iPod functionality.

The IXOS adds a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connection to laptops and portable music players and stereo phono inputs for connection of CD/DVD players and TV audio outputs.

The dock's finish is gun metal black with a brushed aluminium extrusion with blue LED display. The iPod docking cradle has a unique flip down lid to protect the connector when not in use says IXOS.

The IXOS Neo iPod speaker dock is priced at £109.99 (US$181) and is available now at selected high street retailers.
