New Alan Wake developer diary surfaces

Better known for their work on the Max Payne series, developer Remedy Entertainment has released a new development diary showcasing their upcoming action-thriller title Alan Wake. Lead writer Sam Lake details the story, including some of the mysteries to be found in the sleepy town of Bright Falls where the game takes place. Lake describes the game's presentation as "a modern day TV series," and mentions that, as seen in earlier footage of the game, chapters will be broken up episodically throughout the game. Aside from the plot elements, the video shows how far the visuals have come, and highlights some new characters Alan will be dealing with throughout the story.
