With Jack Black and Tim Curry joining a cavalcade of rock gods, Brutal Legend already has an epic cast. However, in an interview for our September issue (currently on store shelves) Brutal Legend designer Tim Schafer revealed three top comedians that will be a part of the star-studded cast--Kyle Gass, Steve Agee, and Brian Posehn. Here's more about the comedians and the roles they'll be playing.
KYLE GASS
Who is he?
Along with Jack Black, Kyle Gass is Tenacious D. The duo has been delivering their own brand of humor-based rock since 1994, and have created a television show and movie about the D's exploits.
What's his role?
Gass has a cameo in Brutal Legend as a mortar cannon operator hidden in the game's expansive open world. He has a set of side missions for Eddie to keep the world safe from the hair metal militia.

BRIAN POSEHN
Who is he?
Besides his memorable stints as a cast member on Mr. Show and Just Shoot Me, and The Sarah Silverman Program, Posehn has a unique tie to Tim Schafer--the two worked together on the newspaper when they both went to high school.
What's his role?
Posehn will be playing the part of a big game hunter who gives Eddie hunting challenges. The character was described as "a mix between Ted Nugent and Brian Posehn."

STEVE AGEE
Who is he?
Steve's star has shot pretty high as of late, with a starring role in The Sarah Silverman Program as Sarah's videogame-obsessed and uncharacteristically gay neighbor. Steve Agee has also starred alongside Jack Black in a series of Brutal Legend-themed skits entitled "Brutal Thoughts."
What's his role?
In the world of Brutal Legend, Agee is the Skullraker, a demon whose head detaches from its body. The Skullraker can then swing his head around on a chain. Tim Schafer described the character as "a giant, dangerous, demonic baby".
