Hiring expectations by China, Hong Kong and Singapore IT and telecom firms up for Q4

Not buckling down under global economic pressures, the information technology and telecommunications (IT&T) sector will hire
more professionals in response to a burgeoning industry in Asia.
Based on the latest Hudson Report in Asia, the outlook of the IT&T sector for the fourth quarter of 2009 is hardly an indication
of any strong reluctance by employers to absorb qualified candidates in its fold. The regional findings cover China (Beijing
and Shanghai), Hong Kong and Singapore.
In China, 53 per cent of the respondents said they will hire more staff in the remaining three months of the year compared
to 33 per cent in the third quarter.
