Adobe Systems is enabling enterprises to improve customer experience and boost employee productivity. Customers have become more demanding and enterprises strive to design solutions that work the way users work in their real lives. Today, customers demand an application format familiar with social media, mobile and consumer applications.
The new LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 2 (ES2) from Adobe has been designed to meet these requirements. This latest software release allows businesses and governments to build applications that improve interactions with customers and constituents across devices and channels.
Transforming complex business processes
Adobe's latest release provides a rich Internet application (RIA) framework for designing customisable RIA workspaces, mobile and desktop access to critical applications and deployment in the cloud. With these capabilities LiveCycle ES2 can deliver significant productivity improvements to IT and line-of-business managers.
LiveCycle ES2 allows enterprises to provide customers with a personalised experience that connects to automated processes and embeds real-time collaboration in the applications.
According to Adobe, Rainer Hahn, chief information officer for personal services telekom at Deutsche Telekom believes this release complements its business process automation efforts and delivers greater efficiencies in automating processes that touch its employees, partners and customers.
Hahn said the solution's flexibility and ease of use enables Deutsche Telekom to quickly transform some of its most complex business processes. LiveCycle ES2 has helped the German telecom operator to better reach its business goals.
"LiveCycle ES2 offers powerful tools and environments such as model-driven application development, self-service RIA frameworks and streamlined authoring to enable organisations to create applications that more effectively generate, capture, and exchange critical information," said Rob Tarkoff, senior vice president and general manager, business productivity business unit at Adobe.
Feature rich application
Adobe has ensured tighter integration of LiveCycle ES2 with the Flash Platform and PDF technologies. This means enterprise developers can easily create user-centric applications and relieve customers from using the more traditional, unwieldy system-centric applications.
Included in the release is the new Adobe application modeling technology that brings higher productivity to Adobe Flex and LiveCycle developers. As this new technology also reduces the amount of code and simplifies data and service integration, developers can more efficiently write applications than they could have previously.
LiveCycle ES2 features a powerful and flexible framework that accelerates the development and deployment of user-centric applications by enterprise developers. According to company's officials, Adobe LiveCycle Workspace ES2 Mobile offers access to LiveCycle ES2 from iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices. Users can therefore interact with tasks on the go.
