While Black Friday brings some great deals this week, most publishers have pushed their big titles out of the door already, and dedicated gamers have picked them up at launch. With that in mind, the big three consoles are delivering great downloadable titles this week with the hopes that you'll spend your time (and money) sitting on the couch this weekend.
Nintendo's delivering the lion's share of great new downloadable games, with the third game in the Bit.Trip series, Bit.Trip Void coming to WiiWare, and two classic games with Wii sequels, Super Mario Kart and A Boy & His Blob headlining the Virtual Console. All told, 13 games are coming to the Wii and DSi Stores this week, although five DSi games are the final piecemeal portions of the limited-release DS game Electroplankton to complement the first half that released earlier this month.
While there's plenty of pigskin to be viewed on Thanksgiving, football fans can enjoy their favorite sport in DLC form on their HD console of choice as Madden NFL Arcade comes to the PlayStation 3 tomorrow and the Xbox 360 this Wednesday for $15. Additionally, the PlayStation Blog has confirmed that Revenge of the Wounded Dragon, a 2D brawler, will be coming to the PS3 tomorrow, too.
Nintendo's entire DLC lineup is detailed in the press release below.
