Take-Two Interactive Software's first quarter financial report reveals a 2010 release date for NHL 2K11 for the Wii. Meanwhile, Red Dead Redemption slips to a May 18 release date.
Development on an Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of NHL 2K11 is on hold for a year while the development team does some restructuring. Meanwhile, L.A. Noire, Civilization V, and Max Payne 3 are confirmed for 2010, but Take-Two President and CEO Ben Feder stated that one of those titles might slip to 2011.
Overall, Take-Two saw a $13.8 million increase in net revenue, bringing the publisher's first quarter up to $163.2 million. The bump in numbers apparently came from high profile releases. Their operating loss also dropped from $53.8 million in the same quarter last year to $33.8 million this quarter.
