Organizers of the 2010 Game Developers Conference announced today that total attendance for the week long event hit 18,250. Last year's GDC headcount clocked in at only 17,000.
Additionally, the organizers expressed excitement over the 400 lectures, panels, summits, tutorials, and roundtable discussions logged this year. It's not clear if that total is record-breaking, however.
The submissions process for GDC 2011 panels opens this summer.
