GamePro - An unnamed source told Business Insider today that Zynga -- creator of massively popular Facebook games like FarmVille and Mafia Wars -- has a revenue run-rate of about $600 million and that it brings in $1 million in revenue a day. "Ding," just about sums it up.
Of course it's no secret that microtransactions and an addictive social behavior-rewarding gameplay are behind Zynga's success. Still, it's astounding to look at just how successful the company really is in comparison to other Facebook apps that use similar methods.
