RIM fires a shot at the iPad for browser speed, lack of Flash

The folks from the Web browser group at Research In Motion have posted a video demonstration comparing the BlackBerry PlayBook to the current Apple iPad. The demonstration focuses on browser speed, Adobe Flash support and HTML5 performance.

The RIM PlayBook (http://www.networkworld.com/slideshows/2010/092810-rim-blackberry-playbook.html) is expected to be available in the U.S. early next year, RIM says. The PlayBook is expected to compete with the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab in the tablet space.
