Marimba

It's hard not to notice Marimba, Inc., given the push technology company's ubiquitous CEO Kim Polese. Marimba had a pretty good year in 1997, shipping its Castanet push and Bongo development offering.

Marimba also showed it is still of interest to investors. The company, which received $4 million in venture capital funding in 1996, garnered an additional $14.5 million in financing in September.
