Rapid City Communications

Rapid City Communications is now part of Bay Networks, Inc.'s Enterprise Business Group and Rapid City's CEO and founder, Joe Kennedy, is now a Bay vice president. Bay CEO David House told Network World at the time of the acquisition that Bay was attracted to Rapid City by its Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and Layer 3 switching technology. The technology fit nicely into Bay's grand Adaptive Networking scheme, House said.
