NetIQ has launched the Migration Resource Center - a site devoted to Windows 2000 migration that Mission Critical announced before NetIQ subsumed it.

The Migration Resource Center is still at the Mission Critical Web site, but that could change, so you might need to go to the NetIQ site to find it.

Not everything is available on the migration site just yet, but you can ask "Dr. Migration" (actually NetIQ's Ronnie Blewer, but he looks at home in the white coat and stethoscope) questions about your migration - how to do it, what went wrong, or anything else. There's also a list of frequently asked questions, migration guides and white papers and a replay of the migration-specific Webcasts that Mission Critical sponsored.

Migration to Win 2000 involves, essentially, migration to Active Directory. That isn't easy for anyone, but it can be doubly difficult for Windows NT managers because so much work has to be done before the migration can begin. Take advantage of the help available at the NetIQ site - as well as others we'll draw your attention to as they come online. Migration is too big a job and too important to your future network to ignore any free help you can get.
