Clearwell Systems, a company that is well-known in the eDiscovery space, today announced enhancements to its ClearWell E-Discovery Platform.

All-star vendors

The product now includes several new modules that can filter, analyze, review and produce documents. The capabilities are available in a single package, eliminating the need for customers to use several different solutions. Further the new modules focus on making e-discovery a business process.

The three new modules are a pre-processing, review and production.

In pre-processing, filtering lets ediscovery teams filter data by known files, custodian, size or date. Pre-processing lets users visually summarize detail document sets and assess the statistical make-up of their case data.

The review module includes redaction capabilities that let users redact documents and verity them prior to production. Redaction can be done by keywords, phrases and information such as Social Security numbers, phone numbers or name.

The production module incorporates image-based production capabilities and allows users to convert any set of documents to TIFF or PDF format and then burn redactions on the image. These documents can then be watermarked or bates stamped.

Version 5.0 of the ClearWell E-Discovery Platform is available now. Among the companies customers are ABC, JPMorgan, Toyota and FannieMae.
