Recently, we've looked at a few Web-based customer relationship management services (CRM), and they all have their strengths. Here, we'll look briefly at myNetsales.com from 3Lance Communications.
MyNetsales.com is one of the more structured services of its kind. For example, you can define a customized sales process that leads you from, say, a cold call through all the steps to closing the sale. MyNetsales.com can adapt to your corporate processes and manage, track and follow your leads and accounts.
This process orientation is arguably the distinguishing feature of the service and, when combined with the group functionality, is a powerful structured approach to handling CRM.
There is also a document library for storing templates and presentation materials, a fairly standard (but good-looking) contact manager, extensive reporting feature and group management facilities.
The service is free at the basic level, which allows tracking of up to 25 accounts posting up to 25 documents in the Document Library.
Gold Membership is $9.95 per user per month and allows tracking of an unlimited number of accounts, as well as posting an unlimited number of documents into the Document Library. Platinum Membership is $19.95 per user per month; it has the features of Gold Membership, plus groupware functionality.
