The State of the LAN/MAN tour is underway

By the time you read this, I will be in San Jose, California for the second leg of our six-city tour with the State of the LAN/MAN Town Meetings. There’s still time to register — see the end of this newsletter for details. In last week's column, I gave you some links for wireless resources to help you prepare for our free, one-day seminars. This week, we'll look at 10G Ethernet information around the Web.

The title for the town meeting is "Embracing Disruptive Technologies." The goal is to help you prepare for the onslaught of emerging technologies coming to a network near you, including 10G Ethernet. 10G is one of the most anticipated technologies I've seen in a long time. From the WAN to the MAN, users are expecting to reap big rewards from 10G Ethernet.
