Microsoft could walk from Yahoo deal; IBM's Web 2.0 servers




Microsoft gave its first hint that it may abandon its $44.6 billion bid for Yahoo, as it approaches the deadline for a threatened proxy battle to oust Yahoo's board; IBM has designed a new type of rack-mount server specifically for companies running heavily trafficked "Web 2.0" sites such as Facebook and MySpace, the company announced Wednesday.
