Verizon to sell Pre in 6 months; Timing is key in Windows 7 migration

A Reuters report yesterday said that Verizon Wireless would be selling the new Palm Pre as part of its upcoming device lineup, giving Sprint a six-month exclusive on the device, due to launch on Saturday, June 6. Also, corporate migration to Windows 7 may be less about evaluating the new Microsoft operating system and more about how to properly gauge the correct time to get XP off client desktops, analysts say.
