Efficiently cooling and powering big data centers

With everyone talking about global warming, "going green" is the trendy thing to do. For a large data center operator such as Equinix, green is a little harder to do when you're talking about the power requirements of a small city and a lot of heat that must be dissipated. Joining the program to discuss the company's efforts at being more energy efficient is Margie Backaus, chief business officer at Equinix and an employee since Day 1 of the company. (14:02)
