Security and the cloud effect

In a recent posting, Network World blogger Mitchell Ashley exhorts industry players to “rethink the physical security paradigm of boxes or appliances like firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPN concentrators, etc., and assume that our systems, network and data could reside in many virtual forms and live in clouds outside our direct management.” New Data Center Editor Beth Schultz talks with Ashley about security in the light of increasing use of cloud computing, storage clouds and virtualization (27:19).
