Network World Adds
Special Year-End Event Designed To Help IT Executives With Technology
Planning and Budgeting SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. AUGUST 31, 2004 Network World today announced that it has added another event to its Technology Tour roster. The new event, IT Roadmap: 2005, focuses on new and emerging technologies that Network IT executives need to understand in order to prepare their annual plans.
"So much changes so quickly in technology that IT executives need more frequent and deeper updates on key enterprise technology developments", said John Gallant, President and Editorial Director, Network World. "Network World's IT Roadmap: 2005 helps Network IT executives digest the key developments of 2004 and analyze the critical issues and technologies that will shape the year ahead. Participants will come away with a clearer understanding of the changing enterprise landscape as well as new insights and information that will guide their strategic plans and technology budgets." IT Roadmap: 2005 is hosted by John Gallant, and Johna Till Johnson, President and Chief Research Officer, Nemertes Research and a Network World columnist.
Each year, Network World conducts a series of 4-city Technology Tours focused on specific technology issues of importance to IT departments. Past Technology Tours have covered Network Management, Wireless LANs, WAN, Data Centers, Remote Office Networking and Security. Rounding out 2004 are two, 4-city September Technology Tours covering VoIP and Spam, and a 4-city Technology Tour in November focusing on Security.
